That is why I am making sure every student in North Carolina has the tools to build a better future through Learn and Earn. This new approach to high school and college is transforming education, helping students succeed in high school, gain a head-start on college, get a debt-free college education and learn valuable career skills. Through the commitment of Senate President Pro Tem Marc Basnight, House Speaker Joe Hackney and the NC General Assembly, Learn and Earn will give students the knowledge and skill to succeed so all students can Learn and Earn!

Students attend a high school located on a college campus. In no more than five years, students can earn a high school diploma and finish two years of college, at no cost!

NC High schools are providing online college courses towards a degree program, at no charge!

Up to $4,000 each year for two years of college. If you are graduating from high school in 2008, you may qualify!
